seeing the superior results of denying myself clearly enough that I want to

initiating and embracing all discipline that leads to holiness

 seeing Jesus, and choosing to be with him over the passing pleasures of sin

pausing when tempted to focus on God’s promised reward, knowing the temptation will diminish as I do

 choosing suffering as a pathway to the surpassing value of gaining Jesus

walking in the Spirit and experiencing and reflecting the person God has made me to become

Description:  We don’t always see the potential in small beginnings, but God does. In Zechariah 4:10, the Bible tells us not to despise small beginnings because the Lord rejoices to see the work begin. This weekend, we’re learning how small habits can have a big impact on our lives.
