We are in Mark 12 this week for our Human Bible Study. I go off script a lot because of what is happening in our nation right now and wanting to address it. No scripture lead in either because once again, I go long.  Be blessed this week. 

We continue our Human Bible Study with Mark 11, where we have another Markan sandwich, this time fig flavored. No scripture lead, since it got a bit long! 

We continue our Human Bible Study through Mark this week finding ourselves in Mark 10:17-52, where we get to talk about wealth, power, and authority. 

We continue our Human Bible Study with a guest preacher! We get to hear from Rev. Michael Wiltshire this week as he preaches on Mark 9:30-10:16. Also, he had nothing to do with the sermon title. I totally made that up for him. Also, he read the scripture as well. Needless to say, I had nothing to do with this sermon...well beyond giving it an awesome name. 

We continue our Human Bible Study in Mark 8:22-9:1. We get to hear about another healing that sheds light on the following Scriptures about seeing the world partially and what it takes to see the world clearly. Also, you get to hear me talk about Fight Club. Scripture reading this week was Jax Duncan. 

We continue on with Mark 7:31-8:21. This week we go into another healing that sets up an understanding of the following stories. Also, more about bread. Jesus really like carbs it seems. Also, the disciples, well, they continue being the disciples. This week scripture reader, was, well, me. 

A short Easter message this morning going off of Mark 16:1-8 and Luke 24:1-12.

We continue on our Human Bible Study with Mark 6:30-7:30. We talk a lot about bread this week. Also I apologize for singing. Scripture this week was read by Rev. Michael Wiltshire. 

We continue our Human Bible Studies in Mark 6:1-29. Let us hear about our call into Evangelism, why we are sometimes not accepted by the people we bring the Gospel to and well, a game-of-thrones-esk part of the Gospel. This week's reader was Candace Coppinger Pickett. 

We continue on in our human Bible Study with Mark 5:21-43! We run into our first literary device called a Markan sandwich, also known as a tale of two healings! This weeks scripture is read by Ben Breslow.
