We’re entering the fifth period of church history that Jesus outlines for us in His letter to the church of Sardis in Revelation 3:1–6. This period, from 1000–1500 A.D., is the darkest…and bloodiest period in the history of the church.

We continue examining Jesus’ outline of the period of church history from 500–1000 A.D. in the letter to the church in Thyatira in Revelation 2:18–29. We will continue to see the disastrous effects of Romanism in the world, along with the birth of the religion of Islam. Remember, to understand where history is heading, you must understand where it’s been! (Ecc. 3:15)

We continue to talk about both the historic and futuristic ramifications of what Jesus called, “that woman Jezebel” in Revelation 2:20. These truths are vital in keeping us from being “seduced” by her damnable “teaching.” (Revelation 2:18–29)
