Nebuchadnezzar blessed God and believed in him after learning God is in control. 

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to worship Nebuchadnezzar’s image and were rescued through the fiery furnace when God demonstrated he is in control.

Daniel interpreted Nebuchadnezzar’s dream which foretold of God’s future kingdom that will stand forever because God is in control.

Because he knew God was in control, Daniel honored God through his decision not to defile himself while being trained in the Babylonian court.

God uses our wilderness experiences to ensure our theology holds true in the realities of life.

We are all running a marathon together. It's called Progressive Sanctification. It's lifelong and worth every second of our energy and devotion.


Jesus encourages the church to depend solely upon him.

Jesus encourages the church to hold fast to its calling in light of Jesus’s promised work.

Jesus encourages the church to wake up from its complacency to be a strong witness for Christ in the world. 

Jesus encourages the church not to tolerate sexual immorality.
