The True Value Hardware warehouse in Springfield is set to close, and 62 people will be losing their jobs. KLCC’s Zac Ziegler reports:

In Spokane, wildfire evacuees are getting weary of living in hotels or in the evacuation center. They’re worried about the homes they’ve had to leave. There isn’t enough information on the status of their homes from hard-pressed officials, they say. But some evacuees are so stressed they aren’t even eating and drinking.

In Spokane, around 60,000 people have been evacuated – fleeing several fires. But they're not the only ones. Animals too have had to leave their homes. N-W-P-B’s Senior Correspondent Anna King is in Spokane, and has our story.

By now, you have likely heard of "Jimothy," a raccoon with a spinal condition that calls Seattle's Ballard neighborhood home. Videos of this short, round raccoon have been shared millions of times online. Since then, there has been a flurry of art, tattoos and even a bobble head made in his honor... Now a local man has created an 8-Bit video game of Jimothy.

Seattle voters are showing strong support for a nearly $480 million library levy.

Ashland residents will get to decide in November if new fees on utility bills would need to be approved by voters.

Ashland voters will decide in November whether future utility fee increases will need to go on the ballot. Jefferson Public Radio's Roman Battaglia (buh-TALLY-uh) reports the ballot measure has been controversial.

Only one Seattle city council race was on the ballot last night – and the results in that race were surprising. KUOW’s Scott Greenstone has more.
