As the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown continues, Washington may add more protections for immigrant workers.

As SPR’s Owen Henderson reports, the newly proposed [FRI] “Protect Immigrant Workers Act,” would give employees advance notice if federal officials plan to investigate their workplace.

Landlords say they need more freedom to evict people who are causing problems. However, renter advocates believe officials need to slow down before they change these protections.
