Members of Seattle’s LGBTQ plus community are urging the city to cancel the permit for an upcoming rally at Seattle’s Gas Works Park.

Organizers behind Capitol Hill Pride are calling on Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell to revoke the permit for a rally slated to be held at Gas Works Park on Saturday.

As KUOW’s Noel Gasca reports, the group says the anti-LGBTQ rhetoric shared by the event’s organizer is a safety threat to the community.

More than 100 people gathered at the Selah [SEE-luh] Civic Center yesterday [Monday] to raise concerns about PFAs [PEE-fass] in their drinking wells. These “forever chemicals” can cause health problems.
