In the last month, members of an expert panel that advised the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on vaccine best practices were suddenly dismissed – and the agency stopped recommending pregnant people receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently stopped recommending pregnant people get vaccinated for COVID-19.

This change in policy has reportedly led to at least a couple of pharmacies in Western Washington to deny a pregnant customer the vaccine. KNKX reporter Mitch Borden has the story.
