Lane County Commissioners avoided potential budget cuts to the sheriff’s office and other public safety needs Tuesday by pulling from reserves.

Food For Lane County’s free summer food program is returning this year. It offers a free lunch to kids from now until mid-August. KLCC’s Macy Moore reports:
