Back tu Nosferatu! Skipping ahead a few decades, Avishai and Michal return to Germany for 1979's Nosferatu: Phantom der Nacht, written and directed by Werner Herzog. Blending the proper names from the original novel (mostly) with the story created in 1922 (also mostly), Herzog's Nosferatu is a painterly nightmare that dwells on what scares us most: Plague, sexuality, and a thousand-year-old sadboi with way too many rat friends.
Nosferatuesdays is hosted by Michal Schick and Avishai Weinberger, and edited and produced by Jamie Blumberg.
Music: Lacrimosa (kyoshi Remix) by DistroKid.
