This week, Mike and Sammy wax nostalgic about more Nickelodeon game shows with Justin Rosenberg! Justin has worked as a journalist for ESPN, worked on the documentary "Jordan Rides the Bus", and as a PR director for the Birmingham Barons (much like Wayne Knight on Space Jam). We reviewed Wrestlemania x-Seven.
Wrestlemania x-Seven featured such bouts as "Big Show vs. Kane vs. Raven", "Vince McMahon vs. Shane McMahon", "The Dudley Boyz vs. The Hardy Boyz vs. Edge and Christian", and "The Rock vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin".
We discuss Space Jam, inappropriate thoughts about the female wrestler Chyna, how professional wrestling is more upstanding than other sports, symbolism in the "Garfield" comic strip, and injuring yourself for the sake of entertainment.

Today, Mike and Sammy are joined by Chris Hanley to reminisce about Unsolved Mysteries and Rescue 911. Unsolved Mysteries was originally an NBC series hosted by Robert Stack that presented unsolved crimes, missing persons cases, and paranormal events in an documentary format. Rescue 911 was a reality television series hosted by William Shatner that featured real 911 calls and often re-enactments. Looking back, these shows are still pretty terrifying.
Unsolved Mysteries Episode "Jim Kimball Disappearance", Rescue 911 Episode "Pre-Teen Female vs. Intruders"
We discuss the creepy phone call to the Unsolved Mysteries 1-800 number, the creepy clown that hangs out in a Chicago cemetary, almost getting abducted, the pilot for the inaugural podcast "Mike and Sammy Know Women", a scary table, and more!

Today, Mike and Sammy are joined by Adam and Dan from the All Work All Play Podcast (allworkallplaypodcast.com) to wax nostalgic about the middle school years of Boy Meets World.
This show was a classic ABC live action sitcom as part of their TGIF lineup. Boy Meets World was about the coming of age of Cory Matthews (Ben Savage) - and his friends and family - Shawn, Topanga, and Mr. Feeny.

Jed Levine (our new favorite Californian) joins Mike and Sammy to discuss Family Matters. Family Matters was a show about the Winslow family, mainly Carl Winslow (Reginald VelJohnson), and their nerdy neighnor Steve Urkel (Jaleel White). This was a long running show on ABC that was actually a spinoff of "Perfect Strangers" and was part of the TGIF lineup.
Episodes: High Hopes, Jailhouse Blues
We discuss morals in sitcoms, Mike learns what the true meaning of "sitcom" is, socio-economic issues, Lifetime movies, Enron vs. Comcast, murdering Nick Cage to resurrect Robin Williams, and more!

Listen to us on iTunes, Stitcher, or RSS.
Today, Mike and Sammy are joined, once again, by Cody to discuss the 90's SNICK show "The Secret World of Alex Mack". This was a show about a teenage girl who gets drenched in a top-secret chemical that gives her superpowers.

Today, Sammy and White Mike are joined, once again, by Big Mike and Boston. On this episode, which was recorded on a totally different day than the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers episode, we discuss what Saban refers to as "Power Rangers Mega Force", but what the rest of us refer to as Shitty Power Rangers. This is a show that doesn't know when to call it quits.
We discuss Tom Brady's irreversable suspension, the return of Tommy, Boston Mike's terrible taste in television, Big Mike's hunger pains and more!
