SO THEY'RE MENTALLY ILL! NOW WHAT?!
We love to say we've gotten better at talking about mental health. We know the language now: trauma, triggers, boundaries, depression, anxiety, healing, therapy.
But are we actually more comfortable with mental illness, or are we just more comfortable talking about it?
Through Ariana Grande, Anthony Bourdain, Britney Spears, and a few more infamous celebrities part of these conversations, and even some of my own experiences, this episode is about the body, the mind, the soul, the people we become when we're struggling, and the empathy we sometimes struggle to extend when mental illness isn't pretty, palatable, or easy to understand.
Maybe we don't always need an answer. Maybe sometimes we need to get a little more comfortable saying three simple words:
I don't know.

Sometimes you can just listen.
