As always, thanks to Logan for the intro music
We have all read or heard about things in the bible if you do this thing, you’ll be put to death. How would that work in theory and practice? This episode will go into this topic and (hopefully) cover some of the following:
* Death Penalty
* Lesser Crimes
* Witness testimony being false
* Why is there no Jewish court these days?
Plus we have some listener feedback I forgot about:
I was thinking the other day about different words used in semi-formal contexts:
my grandfather "went to temple" (not to synagogue)
and I swear I never heard "shul" growing up
And a news article: Haredi parties mull bolting coalition as Ben Gvir pushes Jewish prayer on Temple Mount

Feedback
If I were at your place on Friday night and when you kicked me out it was time for me to leave, would it be a real faux pas to pull my phone out to call a cab? or should I wait till I'm outside? out of your eruv? etc., and does the weather affect that?
would it be a fauxxier pas because I'm sort of Jewish?
and
Can you put it (a Mezuzah - ed) on the inside of the door?

This week our main topic is an old one but not one we have covered on the podcast. The question goes like this - If the Torah is moral why is slavery allowed?

What is the Jewish guidance on seeking forgiveness? You brought up remorse in the episode but never got back to it.
