Dr. Venus comes from a bloodline of addictions, especially hard liquor. In her mind, wine was something they drank at church or at a fancy event, not something that signified an addiction. It wasn’t until she found herself drinking wine in her Lexus out of a paper bag that she realized one can be successful AND be an addict. This episode, she focuses on the many forms addiction can take and surprising ways in which it can appear in our lives.
