It's a Q&A episode this week, as we asked and our listeners delivered. We have some great questions from some of our listeners, covering a range of topics. Andy went so far as to say that this was his favourite episode we've recorded to date!!
We start of with whether food quality and 'junk calories' make a difference when aesthetics is your goal. Should you aim to make all your food choices as 'clean' as possible, or can you fill up on less than optimal foods if you need to create a surplus if you're building muscle. We then move onto programming, and does everyone need periodised progressive programming, or should that only be reserved for complete beginners and elite athletes?
Amy then takes the reigns with the topic of female hormones, and whether they make a difference when considering dieting/fat loss. How can we mitigate their effects, or does it not even matter?
Lastly, we have a great question from listener Nathan who has gone through his own personal transformation. Should he continue to try to lose fat and try to re-comp his body, or should he start muscle building? This one has a lotta niche and individualisation to it, but Andy and Amy provide some interesting insights with regards to their thought processes.
