I’ve noticed recently that “confessional”, or more so, “real” culture has taken charge of social media - everybody is trying to BeReal (literally and figuratively). We’re all trying to be authentic, real, and raw…. but is authenticity now being forced? rehearsed?

Success has become the no.1 addiction in your life, my life, and all of our lives. We are pressured into thinking that “success” is the be-all and end-all, that it will bring us everything we want in life.

I often wonder what my life would be like in this present moment if things worked out differently. Whether it be positive or negative. Comparing what I currently have to what I COULD have had, letting negative thoughts take the reins over the confidence I have in the decisions I've made.

As a continuation of the last episode, I wanted to continue to provide insight into how I've let judgement and external sources shape who I am and take control of my life. I had a little emotional relapse last week that triggered a whole range of intrusive and self-doubtful thoughts, contradicting my entire reasoning to create this podcast.

For the past 3 months, I have been sabotaged by the needs, opinions, and perceptions of everybody around me. I let everybody else take control. I think this may be the first time period that I'd consider to be consecutively f*cking horrible. I didn't intend on starting the podcast this way, I had completely different plans, but first I needed to get a lot off my chest.
