When communism collapsed, the Soviet Union was thrown into a world of chaos, opportunity and unprecedented wealth.

In this explosive interview, an insider takes us back to the Wild West capitalism of post-Soviet Russia — where fortunes were made overnight, old power structures crumbled, and almost everything was up for sale.

From the rise of oligarchs like Boris Berezovsky and Roman Abramovich, to the influence of the Vory, organised crime and the powerful figures fighting to control the new economy, this is a look inside a country being transformed at breakneck speed.

He reveals how he made his first million importing Marlboro cigarettes and Levi’s jeans, before moving into deals on a completely different scale — including the sale of a Soviet Navy ship.

A world where connections were everything, opportunity was everywhere, and the line between business, politics and organised crime could become dangerously blurred.

💥 The collapse of communism. The birth of the oligarchs. The deals that changed Russia forever.

In this exclusive follow-up interview, Lev Parnas takes us inside one of the most extraordinary organised-crime schemes in American history — the Russian gas tax scam.Growing up in Brighton Beach, New York, Lev's best friend’s father was Marat Balagula, the Russian Godfather at the centre of the operation. Still a teenager, Lev became involved as a money collector and witnessed how the scheme worked from the inside. The operation exploited the way gasoline taxes were collected through wholesale companies. Bogus middlemen were used to buy and resell fuel, leaving tax bills unpaid before the companies collapsed. The scheme generated enormous sums and drew in figures from both Russian organised crime and the Italian Mafia.Lev explains the mechanics of the scam in detail — how the operation worked, how the money moved, and what he witnessed as a young collector.Italian Mafia figures, including Michael Franzese, later became involved in related gasoline-tax schemes, with Franzese describing how millions were made. This is Lev Parnas telling the story from his own perspective, with a direct connection to the people involved.

ROBERT DAWES: 22 YEARS — BUT DID THE EVIDENCE STACK UP?They called him one of Europe’s most powerful organised criminals. In December 2018, British crime figure Robert Dawes was sentenced to 22 years in a French prison over the seizure of 1.3 tonnes of cocaine at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. But behind the €50 million cocaine seizure lies a case involving a controversial informant, a French drugs chief, an undercover operation and a hotel recording that became central to Dawes’s conviction. In Part One of our investigative documentary, we examine the case that sent Robert Dawes away for 22 years. On 11 September 2013, 31 suitcases containing approximately 1,332 kilos of cocaine arrived on an Air France flight from Caracas, Venezuela, to Paris. How did the investigation unfold? What role did informant Sofiane Hambli play? And what did former French drugs chief François Thierry know about the operation? We examine the disputed evidence, the Madrid hotel recording, the transcripts and the courtroom playback problems that became a major issue in Dawes’s legal challenges. We also revisit the earlier Spanish investigations, the people arrested over the shipment, and the questions surrounding how Dawes became linked to the case.Dawes has maintained that his recorded remarks did not amount to a genuine admission of responsibility. The prosecution relied on the recording as evidence of his involvement. Was the evidence as straightforward as the headlines suggested? Or are there unanswered questions about how this case was built? This documentary examines the evidence, the competing accounts and the wider circumstances surrounding one of Europe’s most high-profile cocaine cases.⚠️ This is an investigative documentary, not a finding that Robert Dawes was framed. Allegations, disputed interpretations and established court outcomes are distinguished wherever possible. Viewers are encouraged to examine the underlying evidence and reporting.PART TWO: THE PEOPLE, THE INFORMANTS AND THE EVIDENCE THAT CAME NEXT.🔔 Don't Forget To Subscribe To The Channel For Latest Interviews & Updates🔗 Stay Connected on Socials -Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/notguiltytvInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/notguiltytvTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@realnotguiltytvTikTok (Old Hacked): https://www.tiktok.com/@krntv.official 🎬 Must Watch Interviews -https://youtu.be/7np8rqggS-M?si=uF0KYxX25LwzRfQAhttps://youtu.be/cWKrystrThg?si=UxuSmtANQl3EFbDghttps://youtu.be/7XngcKAuVcc?si=Vi2eKdmKgVHOE5y7https://youtu.be/ErYRhTv0rsc?si=ck4uLc63uaFFkCTPhttps://youtu.be/YTgukes8vkc?si=GBSEIuNlA5IU3bD2https://youtu.be/M-Emc_ni328?si=wMAwDtttpImniG4Qhttps://youtu.be/8wfPN2PA5ho?si=_9ityOP-w7uryrH5https://youtu.be/XZpFqNmzc-Y?si=sFTPm1hci1gFJCa9https://youtu.be/FCYLRyjfPKo?si=GMYrI-oux3rNhuOjhttps://youtu.be/ur5_ZlZunY8?si=oLFNS7GZBT7bAM43https://youtu.be/a5Dwbjl_n-U?si=Zq5a0nnSjh4VzPMwhttps://youtu.be/WczUeQSRVTo?si=-xHQe8LfZuJ7hCOr🎵 Podcast - Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/1Sd33snzuJMOnUPjLflsUv?si=0fe637aedf904e79 🍏 Apple: https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/krn-tv-true-crime-podcast/id1721798555Podbean: https://krntv.podbean.com📩 Enquires: [email protected]⚠️ Copyright Notice:This video and all content within it are the exclusive property of the channel owner.Unauthorised reproduction, re-uploading, editing, or distribution of this content is strictly prohibited.Any use of footage, audio, or excerpts requires prior written permission from the copyright holder.✅ Privacy & Compliance:All interviews are conducted with the full consent of the participants.Any sensitive information or personal details are handled responsibly in line with platform guidelines.#truecrime #gangster #notguiltytv

DANNY SIMPSON EXCLUSIVE: VICTIM WITHDRAWS STATEMENT AS WOOLWICH CROWN COURT TRIAL DESCENDS INTO CHAOSEXCLUSIVE FROM HMP BELMARSHDanny Simpson speaks exclusively to Not Guilty TV while currently on trial for Section 18 GBH.Danny gives his account of an extraordinary case in which he says the alleged victim has withdrawn their statement, told authorities that Danny was not responsible and is no longer attending court. He also discusses a witness who, according to Danny, withdrew their statement before being arrested and held for days in an attempt to make them attend court. The case took another dramatic turn when Danny challenged the judge over the conduct of proceedings. He says he was subsequently removed from court and assaulted by officers, resulting in him being hospitalised. Danny claims the judge witnessed what happened and that one officer was dismissed following the incident.Despite the events, Danny says the judge intends for the trial to continue on Monday — potentially even in his absence if he is medically unable to attend.Danny has also sacked his legal team and decided to represent himself, insisting that the case should be dismissed or, at the very least, adjourned so he can properly prepare his defence. In this exclusive interview, Danny gives his side of the story and explains exactly what he believes is happening inside his trial.⚠️ IMPORTANT: Danny Simpson is currently facing criminal proceedings. The allegations discussed in this interview are disputed and have not been proven in court.
