In a Zoom meeting with Ernesto and Carlos of ‘Yo Soy Tu Mismo’ (a group of Spanish devotees of Bhagavan Sri Ramana) on 10th November 2021, Michael James answers the questions:
----more----
“Michael, I’ve heard you say there is no way for us to know where we are on the spiritual path according to our level of maturity, nor there is any need to find out. On a mundane level, one can be aware of one’s progress in any worldly endeavour: giving up smoking, learning to play an instrument, etc. Is this an act of grace to keep our curiosity away from taking interest on this just like we are veiled to our past lives in order for us to not fall into despair if we knew what we did in the past?”
This episode can also be watched as a video: 2021-11-10a Yo Soy Tu Mismo: Michael, Ernesto, Carlos discuss not knowing how far we have progressed.
