Kindness is good
The world can always use another person to spread kindness. Why shouldn’t it be you? I know it’s not always easy, let’s face it – you’ve got just as much going on as the next person. How can you be kind when it’s not easy or you’d rather treat the person the way they are treating others?
3 tips on how to be kind
Remember this: we don’t know what burdens other people are carrying.Avoid the mentality that says you give back what you get.Say or do the kind thing when people are unkind, it often disarms them and hopefully makes them think. What if you don’t have it in you
Take a long pause before you respond to negativity and consider not responding at all if you know what you will say is not kind.Take a break and refill however is most helpful to you. Take a walk, grab a drink with a friend, pray, read a fun book, sit in silence, play in the leaves, snow, sand (depends on the season and where you live). This may be a bit (ahem, okay, very) obvious, but be kind to others this week, especially to those who are unkind to you or others.
