  • Building a SaaS in 1 Hour Failed (And What We’re Doing Now)

We are back! We haven’t slowed down; we’ve just been drinking from the firehose of AI news and tooling. In this episode, Nick and Jesse return to the Not Replaced Yet channel to show exactly what we’ve been working on.

We originally set out with a bold goal: launch a business in one hour. While we didn't hit that timeline, we didn't quit. We view that initial "failure" as the start of the real work—building the system that will eventually allow us to launch products maximally efficiently.

Today, we check in on Time Glow, our SaaS application that restores vintage photos and animates them using the latest generative video models. We walk through the "Agentic" tech stack, discuss the reality of building complex features like job queues and credit systems, and show why learning while building is the most valuable part of the process.

    In This Video, We Cover:

The Journey: Why missing our "1-hour" deadline was actually the start of a better build process.
