In a new month to month series, we take a look at and discuss films relevant to each month's observance of heritage, diversity and inclusion. In honor of February's Black History Month, we kicked off this series watching the most beautiful film, The Last Black Man in San Francisco. We examine it's endless themes of gentrification, income inequality, racial stereotypes and division, and identity as we continually rave about, again, how beautiful this film is. Seriously, watch it. 

We finally made it to the end . . . but at what cost?

In this very very lengthy pod, we delve into the highly anticipated conclusion to the 40 year long Skywalker Saga. Was it satisfying? Was it everything we had ever hoped for? Did it make sense? Of course not! This is Star Wars, and a true Star Wars fan is never happy with any of the movies. Join us on this last bitter sweet adventure to a galaxy a long time ago and far, far away.

In the penultimate episode of our 9-part series discussion of the Star Wars Skywalker Saga, we dive straight into Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. We talk expanding character arcs for Poe and Finn, how well new characters Rose and Holdo fit in, Rey as a Mary Sue, the canon shaking philosophies brought by the Codebreaker and an older Luke Skywalker, and all of our hopes, theories, and grievances going into the final installment.

We take a look back at our original excitement and early theories going into the sequel trilogy, the introduction of a new trio of heroes, and the continuation and ultimate fates of some old ones. We also discuss the final two episodes of the Mandalorian.

From our perspective the jedi are....centrally flawed in many ways. This episode we dive into the third episode of the Star Wars Skywalker Saga, Revenge of The Sith. Jump on a starship down to Mustafar as we talk the inevitable seduction of Anakin Skywalker, where mentor and brother Obi-Wan went wrong, and how Palpatine and the ways of Sith managed to orchestrate it all. 

We're just simple podcasters trying to make our way in the pod-universe. In the second part of our Skywalker Saga Series we fly into Episode II: Attack of the Clones by way of a honeymoon trip with our moody boy Ani who raises some serious red flags. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan goes on a solo detective adventure, while at the cusp of the epic Clone Wars, we ask, where did the Jedi go wrong? We also recap the third episode of Mandalorian and early takes on where the series may venture.  

Let's go back to the beginning! In the first episode of our new series, covering all episodes in the 9-part Star Wars Skywalker Saga as well as episodes in the new Mandalorian series on Disney+, we podrace back in time to the story and the boy that started it all. This episode we talk about our memories of the prequel trilogy, our favorite Jedi Master Qui-Gon, what's up with the midichlorians and how Jar Jar fumbles his way to the top. In addition, we share our first impressions on the first two episodes of Mandalorian and the baby that cooed it's way into our hearts forever.
