On this final episode of the season, Nina and Tony discuss expectations and patience. Tony mentions he has been spending a lot of time thinking about Einstein’s quote, "The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once." That developed into a thankfulness filled conversation about why waiting for things to happen is a blessing, because we get to enjoy it more.

This week Nina and Tony talk about anger, seeing red, getting lost in it, being victims, and generally losing our cool.

Tony’s topic this week is inspired by a quote by Buddhist nun and teacher, Pema Chodron: “You are the sky. Everything else is the weather.”

Nina’s epiphany this week is the realization that she’s been on a long-term “loop” of certain thinking and behaviors, and that it is time for a change.

Today, Tony picks the topic of “Play”…i.e., doing something for the sake of being in the moment with no expectations for the outcome. He and Nina explore the positive aspects of engaging in play and discuss how, as adults, we often forget how to do it!

In Episode 7, we discuss attaining big milestones in our careers and the let-down that often occurs afterward. Where do we go from there? We need to get back into the driver's seat to stay inspired and productive.

This week we decide to stop putting it off and dig into procrastination. Why do we wait? What are we waiting for? And how to get it all done, are a few of of the questions we tackle in this installment of Not the Destination.
