  • Ep 180 - Grosse Pointe Blank

Kyle and Baker discuss the 1997 hit film Grosse Pointe Blank.

Why, might you ask, would two guys who recently avoided their 10 year high school reunion because they weren't fired up to go compare themselves to all the people they grew up with in their home town want to watch Grosse Pointe Blank?

Because it's about a hitman who attends his 10 year high school reunion and compares himself to all the people he grew up with in his home town.

John Cusack. Minnie Driver. Dan Akroyd. Joan Cusack. Alan Arkin. Hank Azarai. Jeremy Piven.

How do you beat this cast?! (With Armageddon)

How do you beat high-school-hero John Cusack starring in a film about going back to high school?! (Again, Armageddon).

What a great movie. What an average podcast about it. Thanks for listening!

  • Ep 176 - The Last of Us 109

Kyle & Drew discuss the finale of HBO's The Last of Us.

This season has been a whirlwind. We've met so many people that have died 40 minutes later.

We've grown to love a  crochety old man and an infected teenager with a potty-mouth.

How did HBO do it? How did they make us care so much about these characters? Even ones we see for less such a short time?!

What does the future hold for Ellie, Joel, and The Last of Us Season 2?

  • Ep 174 - Supervillain Draft

Kyle, Drew, & guest host Rolfe draft the top 15 supervillains in Hollywood cinema.

What are they drafting for, you might ask? Good questions. They don't know either.

Draft teams, put them in silly scenarios, and have them fight to the death... the way supervillains probably would in real life.
