Blizzcon happened and with it the formal announcements of Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2, Monster Hunter World released their Resident Evil 2 collaboration, Modern Warfare revealed upcoming maps and game modes, and we have a release date as well as console announcements for Phoenix Point!

Happy Halloween!!! Mike finished Control and played some Call of Duty: Modern Warfare with Ben, who also played Final Fantasy XIV with Jake, who also finished Vampyr.

November's PS+ games are announced, along with a release date for Nioh 2; Sony is shutting down Playstation Vue in 2020, Death Standing is being ported to PC, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is scheduling major changes for the near future, and NBA Live 20 has been canceled.

Mike has returned with big news, he started playing Destiny 2 again? Along with some Monster Hunter World, and finishing What the Golf?. Jake continues on with Vampyr and getting near the end of FFXIV: Stormblood. Ben also spent time with both Destiny 2 and Fortnite, stayed the course with FFXIV, and he got a cat too!!

Fortnite took over the world again in news this week, Riot announced a handful of upcoming projects along with bringing League of Legends to both consoles and mobile, Fallout 76's upcoming Wastelanders expansion has been delayed, Google Stadia has an official release date, and Activision promises zero loot boxes in the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Fall is here and so are games! Ben and Mike tried the Modern Warfare beta and the new Ground War mode, and absolutely hated it! Mike did however love his time with Monster Hunter World and the Ori and the Blind Forest demo. Ben of course found time for Final Fantasy XIV and surprisingly Jake played nothing but Red Dead Online.

From Sony's most recent State of Play we have a release date for The Last of Us Part 2, a Death Stranding PS4 Pro bundle, a demo for MediEvil, and more! We also finally have the multiplayer update for Stardew Valley on PS4, along with Sony launching their own Playstation online store.

We're in a bit of a new gaming funk, but we still managed to play some games. Mike played more with his SNES Classic, and the Modern Warfare beta with Ben. Along with the beta, Ben played Final Fantasy XIV and Red Dead Online with Jake, who also played some Final Fantasy XIV and MLB The Show.

Sony has announced their next State of Play, we have an upcoming open beta for Nioh 2, the announcement of a new Terminator game, Rockstar releasing their own game launcher on PC, the first three Dragon Quest titles coming to Switch, and another big setback for Anthem.

Nintendo leads news this week with a recap of their latest Direct, Sony reveals their lineup for Tokyo Game Show, the final chapter of Celeste has been released, a very confusing schedule for the Modern Warfare beta, Star Ocean: First Departure R gets a release date, and Sony redesigns the box art of most of their first-party titles.
