Not Your Average Christian

Maria is back (apparently by popular demand) to talk about the expectations of being a "pastor's wife" and why she's the worst one out there! We also talk about my side chick, authenticity, holey jeans, and what it actually means to love people where they're at. Should be fun.

I 100% ghosted on this podcast in 2020, and for that I am truly sorry. In this episode I sit down with the person who knows me best, my wife Maria, to hash out everything that went down in 2020 that led the 11 month pause of Not Your Average Christian. She pulls out all my dirty secrets and we do not hold back on an ounce of truth.

Do we call it season 2?

It has almost been a year, we'll talk about that later, but I AM BACK and it is time to get our unaverage Christian community rolling again! In this episode I talk about the countercultural Jesus, who He was, and what that means for us.

Yeah you read that right... according to Scripture there is a reason to completly cut your ____ off. While that might sound nuts (pun intended) there is more freedom found in this passage than you'd imagine!
