Too Bland and Boring for My Taste

After her best friend plans an impromptu wedding in Ireland on short notice, Lu Osborne crosses the ocean to support her friend. Lu's always had a crush on Sarah's brother, Joe, but after a dance together at a local Irish pub, Joe also seems to be interested in Lu. Back home in New York, Lu and Joe begin seeing each other. When Lu is faced with the possibility of having to couch surf with friends since Sarah will move out of their apartment after the honeymoon, Joe's protective side comes out as he showers Lu with affection insisting that she remain in the apartment at his expense so she can focus on her art.

This installment of the Shower & Shelter series was a bit bland for me. Lu and Joe's romance was rather boring, and at times Joe seemed more possessive of Lu than protective.

Sweet

Another page turner. The Author has a way of making the Characters so interesting and like-able. Because this story was written in 'first person' we learned in detail Lu's (the heroine) personality and what she was thinking. A talented Artist, Lu wasn't that confident in her ability to come up with new projects, and also attracting a handsome Guy like Joe.

Favorite series, another great installment.

This series is my favorite by Brooke St James. I love the family, friendships, daith, loyalty, and of course the art. Again, this book is a wonderful story weaving together all of those elements. Not my favorite in the series but a part of the whole awesomeness.

I love the Big Brothers, the thorn in the flesh, the picture stealing, the silly banter about things, and the introduction and reintroduction of people in the series. Highly recommend.

Art and love brought together are a beautiful thing

This story is a beautiful staging that brings art and Love together when you let go of your fears and let God direct your path.

You will enjoy Lulie (Lu) a good friend of Sarah Spicer Ross. My has had a crush RoNnie Spicer for years. Joe's parents wanted him to be a doctor, but Joe made it big in another field. You will find another good read here in this book.
