Chris went all the way from Greece to Japan and back just to avoid conflict.

Sure, it was for lunch at Epcot, but there still is quite a bit of distance between the two. Believe it or not, many men would go to even more extreme lengths to avoid conflict or to avoid an upset wife. You might even be one of them.
