Not Your Average Netizens

Hey everyone, here's the second and last of our backlogged episodes, recorded in the last month of July. We discuss the logic of having idols speaking at the UN, how a music industry professional really views K-pop, and spotlight some awesome women of K-pop.

This is our last backlogged ep (for real this time) and our regular biweekly show will go up on Friday, August 19!

Wassup, everyone, we're back! Unfortunately, whenever you come back from a break, hiatus, what-have-you, it's common to be a bit behind with what's trending. So this ep's a grab bag of K-pop news and music from the last couple of months, recorded the week of June 6th! Don't worry, we'll be back on our regular biweekly schedule for the next episode!

We're back for more K-pop shenanigans, and we've got a stacked (read longer) show this week with a ton of discourse about: the uncanny valley of K-pop beauty standards, Idols and NFTs, the most tweeted about groups around the world, and – if a Felix sexts in the woods, will anyone hear it?

So, how's everyone doing? We're...doing, which is to be expected during these times. But sometimes, you just gotta stop doom scrolling, step away from the phone or computer and indulge yourself in some intelligent and hilarious discourse about the industry in which we continue to drown our sorrows – K-pop!

In this episode we cover NMIXX's confusing debut concept, Jungkook's good boy qualities, as well as the practicality of idol dorms, while taking a sharp right turn into Queen Elizabeth death conspiracy hell.
