The second wave of the horrific coronavirus epidemic is steadily sweeping across the entire globe and case numbers are approaching unprecedented heights. People everywhere are beginning to experience the fatigue both financially and mentally that comes with battling a rampant disease for months on end. However, history indeed repeats itself and humanity has unfortunately been tasked with overcoming a variety of life-altering pandemics in the past; so why does it appear to be even more difficult than before? Why are the simplest of precautions to stay sanitized and healthy being blatantly ignored? This week, we give an unfortunate update on the dismal situation that is the year 2020 as well as discuss the influence widespread paranoia and ignorance has on society in the midst of total uncertainty. Humanity can finally celebrate the first step on the long road back to normalcy with the revival of America's pastimes once again. Without the typical tens of thousands of cheering fans, does the professional-grade competition now appear amateur and seemingly not as enjoyable by comparison? With the help of self-proclaimed sports enthusiast and good friend Liam O'Brien, the Not Your Average Crew returns to debate the less-than-stellar timeliness of the recent sports resurrection and the potential consequences surrounding it, regardless of how entertaining they may be.

In the midst of the chaos and confusion of our own world, it’s easy to find ourselves lost in the grand scheme of things, causing otherwise groundbreaking news to go by unnoticed. Needless to say, the highly-anticipated arrival of the new decade was accompanied by a relentless tidal wave of distractions & tragedies, which only seemed to scramble our priorities evermore so. With the recent announcement from the US Navy confirming the possible existence of extraterrestrials being ignored by the majority of the population, we decided it was more than necessary to examine the true magnitude and impact of this news. The fundamental idea that we are alone in this universe is being heavily challenged with each new discovery and we, as human beings, are being forced to imagine the somewhat fathomable reality of aliens, whether we prefer to admit it or not...

In an ever-changing world, we are forced to analyze every aspect of our once normal lives and how "daily routines" will forever be affected in the future. More specifically, the utter precariousness of an uncertain new standard for the way children and young adults will receive an education going forward is worthy of a discussion in and of itself. However, in typical fashion, we have utilized the convenience of this foreign situation to go a step further and take a deeper look into the fundamental problems in a misguided educational system - particularly in America. Music is an essential piece of our individuality and a necessary escape from reality, even if it is only momentary.
