Hey guys!
We're back this week with another chatty podcast :)
In this episode we talk about our mental health and wellbeing, and how we're generally getting on with life at the mo. We're looking forward to the future (and our newly gained freedom) but we can't help but feel a little apprehensive.. but that's okay and completely normal!
For anyone feeling stressed/overwhelmed/unsure (the list goes on..), firstly try getting in touch with your mental health/wellbeing team at your university. (For BCU students, we've included a link here)
Further support:
1. Every Mind Matters
2. Mind UK
3. Samaritans
4. Nightline Association
5. Calm

Hi guys, welcome back!
This week we chat to our co-host Jess! This was a fun one to record and definitely one you don't want to miss, we discuss Jess' journey into education and why she chose to study a law degree, while also covering family history and our fears. (Trigger warning/phobia warning - we talk about snakes and spiders in this episode)
Hope you enjoy :)

Hi everyone! Hope you're all well and happy. This week is a short podcast of some of our edits. We needed a break and a rest this week and feel it's a good example to show that everyone needs to be able to rest sometimes and take some time out.
Look after your wellbeing and we can't wait to send out a full podcast again next week!
Don't forget to treat yourself to something nice today!
Sending good vibes your way.

Hey guys! This week we chat around the topic of revision and the methods/tips that have helped us in the past, plus general things that you can do to aid your revision. Exams are slowly creeping up on us, so now would be a good time to get the post it notes and colourful pens out! If you have any tips or tricks that we've not mentioned in this episode, feel free to get in touch (you can find us on Instagram or LinkedIn), we'd love to hear from you!

Hi guys, welcome back!
Glad to have you listening to us this week. Thank you so much for the support, we really appreciate all the love! This week's episode is about our co-host Ellie! She chats about the highs and lows of her journey into education. Please show Ellie some love!
(Disclaimer: we are completely COVID safe. Everything is recorded via an online platform, we do not meet in person to record. With that being said, we have experienced some connection issues this week, this made the recording process slightly challenging)

Hello!
Welcome to the first instalment of our new podcast series. We are students at Birmingham City University, and we'll be talking about anything and everything relating to life at university.
We are 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students, each leading very different lives. We're going to be covering many topics such as mental health, online learning, budgeting and managing personal expectations; all from our own individual perspectives. We have never done this before so this is something new for us. We thought why not?.. let's push ourselves outside of our comfort zones and give it a go. We hope our weekly chats will help support and encourage other students. This week we will be covering introductions (you get you learn a little bit about us) and how we met through LinkedIn Learning.
So, if you like the sound of all this podcast-y goodness.. stay tuned and we'll be back each week (Every Saturday @ 9:00am!) with a new episode - thank you so much for tuning in! You can also follow us on LinkedIn and Instagram, where we'll be posting the latest updates regarding the series.
We're really excited to do this, we hope you'll join us along the way.
