Taking their name from a stretch of road along the Texas Gulf Coast, Blue Water Highway Band are establishing themselves as a powerful voice in Texas music. Though still new to many ears, the group is already being recognized for their melodic harmonies, smart lyrics, and top-notch musicianship.

The 7-piece Dallas outfit have dedicated themselves to upholding the traditions of their musical influences, such as Bob Wills and Milton Brown. Their renditions of classics by their idols flow together perfectly with the band's originals on their sophomore release "Wanted In Texas."

During his more than 20 years as a support musician, Texas' own Mike Flanigin made many friends who turned out to be a big part of his first album.
