Summer is here in Sequim!  This show included some CW songs with artists with a PNW connection, a nod to Canada Day, a shout out to my friends from Maple Valley where I played a song by their neighbor Brandi Carlile, and one of my favorites, Just Breathe, dedicated to my mom. Notes by NW celebrates the music and the musicians with roots in the Pacific NW.  Artists range from the Wailers and Ventures from the 1960s, to Ray Charles and Quincy Jones, each of whom lived in Seattle and met with they were 16 and 14;  to icons like Kenny Loggins and Heart;  Jimi Hendrix, of course;   the grunge bands and their offspring;  and contemporary artists like Brandi Carlile and The Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio.
