The Hebrew people were just as deserving of God's judgment as their Egyptian oppressors, but the blood of the lamb sprinkled over the doorposts covered them from HIs divine wrath. This was a shadow of what was to come in the new covenant, a better covenant, in Christ's blood! Today we will sing a hymn written by Robert Lowery which was taken from Hebrews Chapter 8.
