Sin is a human problem. We rebelled against the eternal, holy and righteous God and now we have to pay. Our life is required. Where once we had the promise of eternal live, through sin, we now will suffer death.
No man could solve this problem. No man could live that perfect life that is required. So God steps in, makes a covenant with the second person in the Godhead, His eternal Son, and becomes a man, lives that perfect life that is pleasing to God, so that He can be our hero die in our place.
Today, we dive into verse 3 of How Great Thou Art.

We stand trial before a mighty Lord, who is the final Judge. We are covered in sin and guilt, its all over us, the evidence is undeniable. Yet, when it is time for the verdict to be read, "INNOCENT" is what is declared, made righteous by the work of Christ, who now stands in our place before the Righteous Judge.
And we walk out of that courtroom free men and women. There is now no more condemnation. Jesus and all in Him is OURS!
Join us on your lunch break today as we spend time on the 4th and final verse of "And Can It Be'.
