The Best Kind of Trouble

After reading about Mac in Sam's story I couldn't wait to learn what made her tick. And disappointed I was not, Mac is a no nonsense girly girl who works in a mechanic shop with her dad. She swears like a sailor but is loyal to a fault. Mac and Colton are perfect for each other. There are a few things that would make it seem they should stay far away from one another. But it's those things that actually allow them to help each other heal from pass hurt and self doubt. Things that Colton sees as complications really aren't and emotions & feelings Mac thought she couldn't share are easy to reveal to Colton. Mac's mom coming back after abandoning her father, her brothers,and her set off a chain of events that would forever change her life. Colton to is dealing with changes as well. He's trying to navigate being a good father to Casey an adorable 5 yr old with plenty of sass, his meddlesome ex, mending the relationship with his mother, and fearing that his relationship with his father is over. Apart they are just getting by. Together they will began to heal. But nothings ever perfect and miscommunication between them will put a barrier between them. And while Colton hates outside interference, it's what will save them. Sam and Nick are just as supportive of Mac as she and Nick were of Sam, so now it's Sam and Mac's turn to be that support for Nick as he changes their view on who Bethany is. Her story seems to be one of abuse and protectiveness of her brother. And I'm betting she will be anything but the person they thought her to be. And there is something going on in Nick's family based on the conversation his mom had with Mac at his apartment. So I can't wait for his book to be released.

Baby it's Cold out side, But this book will warm your heart.

This was written to be a stand alone book , but it is so much more enjoyable after you have the backstorie on the charaters from book one. Doing it that way you also get to see how the characters have grown.
