Nothing Catches God By Surprise

Listen Later

Hi and welcome back to anther Elevator Talk Podcast! For the next few minutes that is ours to share, I want to talk about how NOTHING catches God by surprise.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28 NKJV
· God Holds the Future and His word says “I know the Plans I have for You.”
· You were designed by God with gifts and talents.
· You have the DNA of God inside of you.
· A master plan for your life has already been determined.
· There is a season of preparation assigned and a season of destiny designed.
God’s Plan is to Prosper You, Not to Harm You. God’s Plan is twofold: Hope and a Future.
· He gives hope with “handfuls on purpose.”
· He gives hope by sending us a word.
· He gives hope by renewing His mercy every morning.
· He gives hope by comforting us with the Holy Spirit.
· He gives hope by giving us a spiritual blessing.
· He gives hope by giving us an uncommon peace.
The second part of God’s plan is about your future.
· Sometimes you just have to praise God on credit, because of His reputation.
· God already has plans for your future that you are being prepared for. You don’t see them yet, but you are in training for them right now.
· You are not figuring out your future, you are discovering it.
· We don’t know what the future holds, but we know who holds the future.
God promised….
· To give you beauty for ashes.
· A Garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.
· Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning.
God still has…
· The right stone to kill your giant.
· He can still close the mouths of the lions.
· He can still bring a nation to it’s knees.
· Don’t give up on God! Nothing takes Him by surprise.
· He has a “come back” for every “set back” in your life.
· Stay in faith!
God will finish what he started. The moment God put a dream in you, He set a completion day.
· God is the author and finisher.
· God is a God of completion.
He is a finisher.
· When God was creating the earth, each day, He kept working on it until He could say, “that’s good.” God is doing the same thing in your life. He’s not going to stop working in your life until He can step back and say, “that’s good.”
· It may not look good today, but God is not finished yet.
