  • Noticing With Trish Carlyle

On this episode of Noticing With I get to talk with Trish Carlyle

Trish is a mom, a litigation paralegal, a former City Council Member, currently a candidate for County Legislator and my friend.

I first came to know Trish in 2011ish.  I was pioneering the idea of The Noticed Network and she was preparing for her first election as candidate for public office.  I felt a kindred kind of connection to her right away!  It takes a lot of bravery and confident to put ourselves and our ideas out there and it was great to get to talk about that in this interview.

One of my favorite things about Trish is how curious she is.  She is always asking great questions and she genuinely wants to hear the answers.  She is a person who knows who she is and in confident enough to be open to change.

Another of my favorite things about Trish is how much she loves her kids!!  They are her reason for why she is who she is and does what she does, and I think her perspective can inspire us all to tap into our own personal reasons for why (and how) we show up in our own lives.

Trish sees goodness to Notice everywhere and she gives us a great reminder of the humanity that is public service.

So without further ado, let’s do some Noticing With Trish Carlyle.

You can find Trish online at www.Trishfor6.com and www.facebook.com/CarlyleForTheCommunity/

  • Noticing With Alecia Larsen

On this episode of Noticing With I get to talk with Alecia Larsen.

Alecia is a Life Member of LPGA Teaching and Club Professional, a distinguished coach, an author, a Certified Self-Talk Trainer, an entrepreneur, a wife, a daughter, and my friend.

I first came to know Alecia in January of 2015 during Dr. Shad Helmstetter’s Self-Talk Trainer certification training in Pensacola, Florida.  We left that training opportunity full of positive energy and ready to be a positive influence in the world.

One of my favorite things about Alecia is how much fun I have collaborating with her.  She is an idea person who loves to discern and then bring the best of her good ideas to life.

Alecia lives a life of gratitude.  She seems to find purpose and meaning in everything she does.  Even in the dark and trying times she is so intentional about Noticing the good.

One of my favorite ah-has from our conversation was when Alecia shared about the “right hand to left shoulder moments''. There are so many positive takeaways in this podcast and I think you’re gonna love it!!!

So without further ado, let’s do some Noticing With Alecia Larsen.

  • Noticing With Julia Spinolo

On this episode of Noticing With I get to talk with Julia Spinolo

Julia is a Master Usui Reiki Practitioner, Doctor of Nursing Practice, Intuitive, a source of motivation and inspiration, and my friend.

I first came to know Julia on a serendipitous flight from Atlanta to Austin in the fall of 2018.  We were strangers when I asked her if anyone was sitting in the Southwest seat next to her, we chatted the entire flight, and I was delighted to get to give her a Noticed keychain and “Notice” her as the plane was approaching final descent.

One of my favorite things about Julia is how open she is.  She lives and works in the practical and the mystical and her curiosity makes me want to be more curious, too.

Julia lives a very intentional life.  She is a cancer survivor, and I am so grateful that she shared about that part of her story in this conversation.  She shared strategies, perspectives, and inspirations that transformed her life and I believe those same strategies can help us to live intentionally as well.

There are so many positive takeaways in this podcast and I think you’re gonna love it!!!

So without further ado, let’s do some Noticing With Julia Spinolo.

  • Noticing With Hayley Finch

On this episode of Noticing With I get to talk with Hayley Finch.

Hayley is such a gift to The Noticed Network’s community!  She has written so many beautiful articles for our blog and I am so excited that we are going to chat today in the podcast format so that we can learn more about her perspective on things.

Hayley is a talented writer and she has shared her talents for story telling and creating content to help us inspire, inform, and invite our community (and the whole world) to engage in Noticing goodness.

I first came to know Hayley in the spring of 2019 when she reached out to me to learn more about the work I was doing.  Right away we began to brainstorm about how we could share the mission of The Noticed Network in authentic and impactful ways and we’ve been doing just that ever since.

One of my favorite things about Hayley is how she listens and honors those she comes in contact with. She is truly a natural Noticer.  She has certainly been a gift to our community and to me personally.

Hayley shared some great perspectives and tips for intentionally Noticing goodness -especially as we move into the New Year.  There are so many nuggets of goodness in this podcast and I think you’re gonna love it!!!

  • Noticing With Lauren O'Bannon

On this episode of Noticing With I get to talk with Lauren O’Bannon.

Lauren is a fashion designer, a professional, a philanthropist, and the creator of the new Written Therapy journal.

I first came to know Lauren through the passion she shared online during her debut with Kansas City Fashion Week.  That led me to learn about the Written Therapy journals she has created.

It seemed that the work she was sharing online came from such an intentional and meaningful place that I reached out to her to see if she’d be open to share her perspective with our Noticing With audience, and I was so happy when she said yes!

My entire conversation with Lauren was delightful, and I especially loved the way she answered the question “How do you take time to Notice the goodness in yourself and others?” And I think you’re going to love it too.

You can connect with Lauren and her journal project @LaurenofKC and @written.remedy

  • Noticing With Karen Houck

Karen is a wife, and mother, a creator of so many ripples of goodness, and as you’ll soon hear she became my friend this year in the most serendipitous way.

Karen, along with her daughter Ashley, founded Alyssa’s Wishes which is an AMAZING organization that I can not wait for her to tell you more about.

Karen’s story is such a beautiful example to me of how we can choose every day to rise from the hardest of times and still find our ways back to Noticing goodness.  Her story is full of great perspective and sage advice like the importance of good goodbyes.

To learn more and connect with Alyssa's wishes you can visit their website and find them on facebook and instagram.

  • Noticing With Sarah Barnaby

We are so excited to get to share Episode 2 of our new podcast Noticing With Sarah Barnaby.

Sarah is a wife, a mom, a sister, a daughter, a friend, and recently she became a small business owner when she and her family opened Lee’s Summit Nutrition.

I got to know Sarah first through our involvement in our local chamber of commerce, and I’ve enjoyed many uplifting conversations with her since.

She is such a bright light, and she is a natural Noticer of goodness.

I have had the privilege of having several conversations with Sarah over the past couple of years and I have left everyone feeling uplifted.

You may recognize Sarah from a blog post that Hayley wrote about her last year. At the time of that interview Sarah shared how Noticing goodness was impacting her life.  It is so amazing to see how this simple, but powerful practice has continued to positively impact her personal and professional growth.
