The infamous Bayswater Bridge has pulled one hell of a prank in response to confirmation on Wednesday it would be demolished at the end of the year.

Planning Minister Rita Saffioti announced the end for the notorious bridge – responsible for dozens of traffic hazards from more than 60 trucks getting stuck in the overpass – due to the upgrade of Bayswater train station.

But truckies shouldn't crack out the tinnies yet... minutes after Ms Saffioti's press conference ended, a truck became stuck under the City West underpass on Sutherland Street.
