We've reached the end of our dive into the filmography of director Denis Villenueve, and we're ending off with what many consider to be his masterpiece Blade Runner 2049. The long awaited (?) sequel to Ridley Scott's seminal 1982 sci-fi classic was Denis' biggest film to date and it famously didn't do well in theaters at all. However it is a common candidate in the topic of "Movies We Wish Made More Money." With Dune now on the way what can we say about this visionary's first step into the world of blockbuster filmmaking? Tune in to find out. Plus we talk the latest trailers like Scream and The Black Phone, latest news like Will Poulter joining Guardians 3, and more right here on Notorious by Chance.

This episode brings an end to our Blockbuster Summer, which is ironic because of of all the blockbusters we've reviewed for this series this one definitely made the least money. Edge of Tomorrow or Live, Die, Repeat: Edge of Tomorrow (which is a problem in it of itself and we'll get to it) despite great reviews and strong word of mouth didn't quite make the money the studio expected. However the film has since gained a following since the home video release. So what is it about this movie that people are latching onto? We find out. Plus we have the latest trailers like Red Notice and Moonfall, The Ballad of Bishop Sycamore, news like Cobra Kai getting picked up for another season and more here on Notorious by Chance.
