First film in two-part sequel to Oscar-winning animated movie swings into theaters on Oct. 7, 2022

Miles Morales plunges into the multiverse in the first look at the sequel to the Oscar-winning animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) — the first of a two-part continuation of the beloved 2018 film — swings into theaters on Oct. 7, 2022.

In the two-minute clip from the upcoming movie, Morales (voiced by Shameik Moore) is revisited by another dimension’s Gwen Stacy/Spider-Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld), who draws him back into the “Spider-Verse.” He’s then teleported to (presumably) a world populated by Miguel O’Hara a.k.a. Spider-Man 2099, voiced by Oscar Isaac, who cameoed the role in the post-credits scene of the 2018 film but will play a larger role in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One).

Like the original Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse — which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, ending the Disney/Pixar reign in the category and was named “the greatest Spidey movie of all time” by Rolling Stone — the sequel was written by Christopher Miller and Phil Lord, along with Shang-Chi screenwriter David Callahan. Part Two will arrive in 2023, Lord and Miller told EW.

“Miles’ story is an epic,” they said. “We wrote what we thought the story needed to be, and to our surprise we realized it was two movies instead of one. We’re working on them both as we speak. Part Two will be out sometime in 2023. We will sleep again in 2024.”

It's now clearer why DaBaby was recording DaniLeigh while they argued -- cops who responded to his home say she assaulted him ... on Sunday, and then again on Monday morning.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg PD says DaniLeigh was charged with 2 counts of simple assault after officers made 2 visits to the rapper's home. The first came on Sunday night ... after DaBaby had gone live on IG, showing DaniLeigh as she was feeding their 3-month-old child. Cops say DaBaby accused the singer of striking him, but police left without making an arrest.

That changed though when they went back to the house on Monday around 9:30 AM, responding to DaBaby's second claim of domestic abuse. This time, cops say their investigation found enough evidence to cite her for 2 misdemeanor assaults -- one for Monday and Sunday's alleged incidents.

During the Sunday night incident, DaBaby said, "I gotta record you for my safety. You ain't fitting to bring this Black man down."

It would appear the alleged assault had already happened, and DaBaby was recording DaniLeigh out of fear she might claim he had hit her.

On Monday, he posted a video seemingly accusing her of using their baby for Internet clout. He never mentioned anything about her allegedly hitting him. He did, however, vow to take care of their child ... despite all the drama between DaniLeigh and himself.

Meanwhile, DaniLeigh's getting outta town. Monday afternoon, she posted a pic showing the ceiling and air vents on a commercial jet. No word where she's flying, but she says she and the child are safe.

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is staying put in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, according to producer Amy Pascal. Sony and Marvel Studios are weeks away from unveiling Spider-Man: No Way Home, the latest co-production between the two studios, and Pascal says there are more plans for Holland, Sony and the Kevin Feige-run Marvel to collaborate.

“This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel — [this is not] the last Spider-Man movie,” Pascal said an in interview with Fandango published Monday. “We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel. We’re thinking of this as three films, and now we’re going to go on to the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies.”

Seems like Kanye West isn’t ready to call it quits on his marriage with Kim Kardashian — even though it looks like she already has. Earlier this year, Kardashian filed for divorce from West in a move that, although unsurprising, shocked the celebrity world. The couple had started dating in 2012, getting married 2 years later, and are now finally going through a divorce after nearly 7 years — at least that’s according to the Kardashian. West, however, still believes that he and Kim are married. At some point during the 2-and-a-half hour-long episode, he said “'cause she's still my wife, ain't no paperwork.” While the divorce hasn’t quite been finalized, it has been moving terribly slow. Halfway through October, it was revealed that the Kardashian secured the Hidden Hills home where the pair had been raising their kids.

On June 6, 2021, Youtuber Logan Paul and famed boxer Floyd Mayweather participated in an exhibition boxing match at the Hard Rock Stadium in Florida.

At the match, Migos performed the lead single, Straightenin, off of their fourth studio album, Culture III.

Quavo's opening line in the song states: "N****s act like somеthin' been taken / Ain't nothing but a little bit of straightenin'".

Lil Baby appeared to make fun of the line, taking to his Instagram stories to post a now-deleted photo, allegedly mocking Quavo.

Atop a blank black background, Lil Baby simply wrote the line "ain't none but a lil bit of straightening," followed by seven laughing face emojis.

While the rappers are both signed to the label Quality Control in Atlanta, Lil Baby has reportedly become a higher priority than the Migos.

In an August 2020 interview with the Migos, radio DJ Peter Rosenberg asked the rap group if they were impressed with Lil Baby.

Quavo simply responded, "Fasho," before moving on completely.

Earlier in 2020, rumors began to swirl that Lil Baby's crew allegedly jumped Migos member Offset, to which Lil Baby adamantly denied.

However, Offset reportedly unfollowed Lil Baby on social media following the alleged incident. 

Saweetie recently took the internet by storm after posting pictures with a mystery man. Social media users later claimed the man in the photo was rapper Lil Baby.

The pair sparked romance rumors for the first time after they were spotted shopping together in New York City last week. The rumors further intensified after the Icy Girl rapper shared a series of photos on Instagram this weekend. 

In a now-deleted mirror selfie, the 28-year-old was seen sitting on the lap of an unidentified person. This led to fans believing the rapper had started dating a new man. Internet sleuths later alleged that the man in the picture wore the same outfit as the one Lil Baby donned in his Facebook post from November 18.

The speculation about Lil Baby being Saweetie’s new boyfriend went viral online, and several fans responded to the rumors with a barrage of memes featuring the latter’s ex Quavo as well as Lil Baby’s former girlfriend, Jayda Cheaves.
