A late Notre Dame rally wasn’t enough in the desert, as #3 Houston defeated the Irish at the Players Era Tournament in Las Vegas. Len Clark reports.

The final score #3 Houston 66 Notre Dame 56 - the Irish trailed by 22 points in the first half, but cut the Cougar lead to 4 in the second. The Irish were held scoreless the final 5 minutes and 49 seconds. Markus Burton finished with 19 points, seven rebounds and five assists. While Jalen Haralson added 14 as Notre Dame falls to 5-3 on the season. They return home Tuesday to Face Missouri in the ACC/SEC Challenge. Len Clark, Network Indiana.
