A familiar name is coming back to South Bend, as former Irish analyst and ace recruiter Jevaughn Codlin returns to coach the safeties after a quick stop at North Texas. Codlin was a key piece in hauling in one of the top defensive back classes in the 2026 cycle, and now will bring that same juice and recruiting muscle back to the Irish secondary. Codloin’s hire brings continuity, and more edge to a defensive secondary that’s clearly gearing up to make some noise this fall. Len Clark, Network Indiana.
