Are you an evening snacker?
If so this one is for you.
I have been there myself, eating with abandon the remnants of the kids' sweet stash...eating and having no idea why.
In this episode I will explain exactly how you can use a number of key strategies to minimise this often frustrating habit.
I will unpack the psychological and practical solutions that you can easily implement in respect of your own snacking habits.
By the way, I am not anti snacks - but snacking a lot in a way that takes you away from your goals can indicate:
Stress needs to be better managed
That you are bored or lonely
That you are under-hydrating
That you need more sleep
As you listen to today's episode pick out 1 or 2 things that resonate with you and try those particular strategies out.
If you know someone who could benefit from hearing this one, share it with them.
Enjoy, like and share x
P.s. I am opening up just 3 new spaces on my Food & Mood Freedom Academy in the next week so if you want to find out more click here so you can feel leaner, stronger and more confident by Christmas.
Today we continue our journey through Menopause transition and the symptoms which accompany it.
This time I am discussing the less well-known symptoms, since we often only hear about night sweats, mood swings, hot flashes - when actually each woman will experience menopause differently, in a way that is unique to them.
But if we are not talking about the many ways we can be affected by menopause, many women risk feeling even more stressed and more alone than they need to be.
- I'll be guiding you through symptoms like phantom smells, insect bites yet no insects in sight, visual auras and more.
- We will explore the psychological and practical effects of these symptoms on body, mind and functioning.
- Then we will identify practical strategies to minimise their impact.
If you are experiencing any of these let me know in the comments or DM me on Instagram. x

Having first hand experience of menopause transition and speaking to clients and followers, I felt this would be a great opportunity to share practical strategies that will help manage symptoms.
In today's episode I am focusing on the nutrition, psychological and practical strategies that you can start to introduce in your life and feel the difference they make.

Menopause - "What fresh hell is this?" you might say? I know I hear you, I am in menopause transition myself and it is extremely difficult in managing the physical and psychological effects.
Several clients and fellow menopausal friends suggested that this would be a useful topic to cover
Namely how we can minimise and manage our respective menopausal symptoms...even less talked about symptoms like constipation or urinary incontinence.
In today's episode we will dive into 3 key areas that you can optimise for menopause mastery :
- Nutrition
- Stress management
- Lifestyle habits
I'll give you practical strategies for each of the above areas and explain why they are effective.
I will be covering more aspects of menopause - and for those (like me) who do not experience night sweats but experience the phantom insect bites and anxiety, so stay tuned ladies!
Remember the clue is in the name, Meno-PAUSE, it is a time to pause, re-evaluate, recalibrate and re-adjust. What worked before will not necessarily work now and that is okay. And I am here to help you find YOU again.

Ever wondered why you can't sustain willpower, why we get those dips in self-control and end up sabotaging our goals?
This is what I wanted to begin to address in this episode (I'll do more podcasts on this), to discuss what influences willpower and self-control, common barriers and some workarounds for enhancing both.
If you want some help with your goals and feeling stuck, DM me and let's chat x

We are all a bit rubbish at acknowledging our progress at times, and instead only focus on how far we’ve got left to go until we reach our goal.
Costs of this include reduced motivation, increased self-criticism, overgeneralise and exaggerate about what you feel you HAVENT done, the reality of your progress to date will be skewed by and discounted by your negative thinking and perfectionistic ideals.
In this episode I would like to invite you to think more productively about your efforts in your health and wellbeing journey, and how enjoyable your journey could be by focusing yes on where you want to be but then shifting focus back to where you are at and how far you have come.
I will introduce the H.E.A.L. exercise a neuroscience technique I have used with clients over the past 7+ years to help you do just that.
Any questions on how to apply this technique to any aspect of your life? Just DM me or you can email to [email protected].
It is a tricky area and pretty much a 'no no' for many, but there are both pros and cons to food tracking.
In this episode I walk you through the main reasons you could track and how.
I will also delve into more mindful, intuitive eating methods.
And ultimately you needn't choose either or, you can do both if you choose to.
What I would say is what we measure we can manage, so it can be a great idea to track what we eat/drink but not for the reasons you might think...
