The painful childhood experiences children have are long lasting. Once trust is broken children grow and believe that everyone could potentially hurt me. I have experienced this pain. People judging you as poor, broken, stupid, etc. As an adult you begin to judge yourself worse and never accept that the pain and trauma or love could exist together inside of you.
