My guest today is Anna Gabriella Casalme. She's the founder and CEO of Novelly a reading app for young change makers that uses compelling and relevant stories as a starting point for dialogue, community and civic action. Anna is dedicated to creating a genuinely youth driven civic engagement experience. She brings over five years of background at the intersection of child health and wellbeing, design thinking and technology. She's previously worked at AltaMed health services, the California planned Parenthood education fund and the school-based health Alliance. She completed her master's in childhood studies from the University of Edinburgh and received her bachelor's in human biology and interdisciplinary honors and education from Stanford University. Today, we're talking about how reading helps facilitate difficult conversations and how it empowers young people plus so much more.
