We never know how our prayers are going to be answered but what I do know is this.  God brings his best people forward to be with us in the most difficult times in order to help us to grow and mature and live a life abundant in Him.  I ask you, are you living in Christ fully today?  Are you focusing on what he is trying to change in you?  By now I am sure he has your full attention, but the real question here is are you ready to surrender fully in his love?  Those that do understand, they know they need to change in order to live a better life.  And to change takes a lot of hard work, you have to want it. You have to sacrifice everything.  Because, something in us needs to be broken and reset by God himself so that we can go onward in living out our lives in Him.  It could be a bad decision, or even a bad attitude.  What ever it is, give it God today.  Get serious about your life and get serious about having God guiding your every decision.  Its important to be on the right path because the wrong path just costs too much.  And the pain it brings, and the setbacks, make it really difficult for one to recoup and hear the voice of God speaking to their heart.  Get on your knees and talk to God.  He will understand.  He will hear every word and wipe every tear and mend every broken piece within you. Remember he is the master of all creation, and he himself created you in your mothers womb, he can do anything.  But you have to let him in.  And when you decide to go to God and decide to mend your broken spirit, God will take your tears, take your regrets, your sorrows and turn them into joy.  I know when I go to confession and give a heart felt examination of conscience, God is present in the room, and the experience is humbling because we need to not be proud we need to be gentle spirits that cling to God in every situation we are in.  We cannot get through this life and bear all of its pain and sorrow without God standing in the middle of everything.  He has to be a part of your life, your decisions, your journey begins when you include God and then God in return reveals himself to you personally, and new life begins through that relationship.  New life, everlasting life, that will go on and live forever.  Take this time to be in silence, and listen.  Just listen to the silence.  It is there you will encounter our God.  And he will reveal himself to you personally.  It is in the silence we grow to know ourselves and God better.  We need to retreat into Him.  And our mission in life will be revealed.
