Novo Pinto episodes

  • root
"root" gives title to this EP. It was composed by Novo Pinto only a few days ago. It is a new turning point in its way of composing and producing undertronica for the youthful artistic collective kAt! So I recorded it and sequenced it with him, who mixed and mastered it for me. "root", although not the beginning, symbolizes the roots of what Novo wants to sound in kAt!, that sounds that we have all called "undertronica".

  • isadora
Isadora Duncan was a free, wild, imaginative and intelligent girl. Isadora, from a very young age, imagined herself as a dancer. It was growing and it was getting. And that girl became a woman who danced free, waving her vaporous clothes, her sinuous arms and legs, her swift feet, her gestures... This is our modest tribute to Isadora made music, made love.

  • juguetes que nunca tuvo
Second track from first EP by jus21
There are still many children without toys. Children like those who do have them, have imagination. This is the music of the imagination experienced by the child who never had toys but imagination that grew with him while imagining himself...

The original theme was a song that I wrote for local folklore in 1992. But in 1994 the Archaeological Museum of Cádiz asked me for a soundtrack for a promotional video of some puppets kept in the museum. So I made some arrangements to the original song, instrumentalized it and then it was the basis for the final version, which is the one you can listen to now.

  • Nuevomundo (official Nu Now DJ mix)
In 2015, one year after having published my first EP "1 de Julio de 1980". the young Chilean DJ Nu Now DJ fell in love with "Nuevomundo" and wanted to do a remix. When I was starting to remix, we remixed this remix between him and me through the cloud.
As these days my studio turns 9 years old and I will soon be 4 years old from the first time I published my music, I want to share this Nu Now DJ remix of "Nuevomundo", which you have at your disposal as a bonus track on the sales page from my 1st EP "July 1, 1980" Enjoy!

About Novo Pinto

From the publisher's feed

I am a composer and producer of underground online electronic and experimental music. I was born in the south of southern Europe but I am a citizen of the world. As Novo Pinto I am immersed in a trend of electronic music that takes me to the future but without forgetting the past. As jsu21, as a virtual band of electronic experimental music, I tend to a musical ethic that encompasses all my artistic and human concerns. As DJ Pinto I am more interested in the structure, the texture, the minimal skeleton that sustains a musical aesthetic that is more and more groundbreaking. And Future: a virtual boychoir (although not entirely).
