The Guardian : Dutton dials back language on Australia defending Taiwan in a potential war with China 

Brisbane Times : ‘Green light to Beijing': Taiwan's fears grow over ambiguous response to Ukraine It is time for nations like the U.S and Australia to take a strong stand against China for Taiwan. 

The ambiguity coming from the United States and Australia will only embolden China. In these uncertain times where the threat of Global war is more real than ever before, so to is the need for democratic nations to show strength and unity.  This is my opinion.
