Licorice Pizza was directed by Paul Thomas Anderson and start Alana Haim and Copper Hoffman. Licorice Pizza was a best picture nominee and we don't understand why. In this episode we'll discuss the motivation of the characters, their odd relationship and changes we would make to salvage this story.

Everything Everywhere all at Once was written and directed by the Daniels. Their previous work includes "Swiss Army Man" and the "Turn Down for What" music video. This film is part family drama, syfy spectacle, surreal journey and action thriller. This film is truly a one of a kind experience and a film that should be on your "must see" list.  

A Ghost Story was written, directed and funded by David Lowery. Released in 2017, this film follows the incorporeal journey traveling through time. We discovery the cyclical nature of time and the ghost discovers new aspects of himself. Don't let the title fool you, this is not your typical haunting. 

Turning Red is Pixar's newest film and is directed by Domee Shi. Is this only a story about a girl coming of age or is it much more? Join us as we over analyze this film and discuss some of the controversy surrounding it. Pandas, periods and pals, what more could you ask for. 

The Worst Person in the World is a Norwegian film directed by Joachim Trier. This film won awards at the Cannes Film Festival and has been nominated for an Oscar. This film is a delightful slice of life, filled with excellent comedic moments and impactful emotion. Because this is not an English speaking film it didn't see great returns in the box office but you can, take some time and watch this wonderful film. It's an absolute gem.

The Power of the Dog was released at the tail end of 2021 and received 12 Academy Award nominations. Is this story important? Is it worth 12 nominations? Or is it bogged down by bad editing and uninteresting characters? We'll thoroughly discuss the film that is taking the film awards world by storm in this episode.

Welcome to part 2 of our review and discussion of Borgman. In this section we'll discuss theories, who is Borgman, what is Borgman and what is the massage of this movie. Spoiler alert, we don't really know. There is so much going on in this film that it's hard to pin down one single message but it sure is fun to discuss some theories.  

Borgman was directed by Alex van Warmerdam and released in 2013. This may be the single strangest film we've reviewed so far. Its hard to pin down the message of this film but we'll do our best.
