Now Watch This

well it finally happened! Jenn and I had a quickie on Now Watch This! i have been listening to podcasts for years and my favorites have always been the podcasts where the hosts are good friends. While i love having my buddies on, since Luck has been gone i've missed the consistency of recording with the same partner every episode. i've got plenty of candidates to cover but when i thought about what i wanted on my show i started thinking of my favotite pods, Jafn, YMH, 2 bears, Bad friends, MSSP, and my OG fave smodcast they are all pods with their best friend on. So i turned to my true life long best friend my wife Jen. Noone gets me like her, makes me laugh like her, calms me like her and stresses me like her, so i know she'll be great on here. I hope you guys like our 1st couple cast

Now watch this goes back to the raddest time of all the 80s! When i go to the 80s i can't thnk ofd a better companion than the raddest podfather out there Gerry D of Totally Rad Christmas. The year was 1984 Ghostbusters was the big summer hit and in Minneapolis Prince was getting ready to release his 1st venture on the silver screen that became the classic Purple Rain. Purple Rain, the semi-autobiographical and prophetic story of a musician’s rise to superstardom, opened on July 27, 1984. One month later, Prince Roger Nelson became the first artist to ever have the top movie, album, and single at the same time. Dig if you will these purified facts about the musical 1980s cult classic. Gerry and I talk from Let's go crazy to I will die 4u and everything in between. Such a classic concert film never to be replicated. What was your favorite song from this movie. Darling Nikki, or were you a member of the time doing the bird like gerry and I. Purify yourselves in lake Minnetonka tonight while we take you back to this 80s masterpiece.

Watchers today Joe is joined by the great CM Chuck of the Just Another Friday Night Podcast. Chuck is legally obligated to come onto the cast whenever we travel into Kevin Smith's viewaskew universe. Now we've covered Clerks and Mallrats and now we follow Jay and Silent Bob into the 1999 classic Dogma .Two fallen angels who were ejected from paradise find themselves banned in Wisconsin. They are now headed for New Jersey where they find a loophole that can get them back into heaven. The only catch is that it will destroy humanity. A group bands together to stop them.

We do the classic NWT watch along here with one of our favorites from Chuck and i's graduation year ! One of Kevin Smiths best movies with a top notch cast. Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Chris Rock, Salma Hayek, Jason Lee, and the great Alan Rickman kill it in this film. This is probably my favorite Matt and Ben film. Who's house? Run's House!

Watchers we are back with another edition of Now Watch This. This week Joe is joined by NWT alumni Coach Dave Maynard. With the upcoming Avengers Doomsday coming out I have been in a Marvel mood and what better way to get it started than with the one that truly started them all and thats Iron Man 2008. A billionaire industrialist and genius inventor, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), is conducting weapons tests overseas, but terrorists kidnap him to force him to build a devastating weapon. Instead, he builds an armored suit and upends his captors. Returning to America, Stark refines the suit and uses it to combat crime and terrorism. WE talk all things Robert Downey Jr and everything thjat went into making this epic. Iron Man did so much that we still see in cinema today. Reinventing the career of RDJ and launching Marvel Studios into the 37 movie run that has come after Iron Man. Thats right 37 in a row. There is no Doomsday coming without Iron Man. Join Nwt on our Marvel run and help choose what's next.

Joe is joined by Dave Silva of the Something to Wrestle With and all of the Conrad Thompson podcasts. Working with legends like Bruce Prichard, Ric Flair, AA, and Jbl amongst a few Dave tells the story from being a fan to contributing to some of the top podcasts going today. We had a great time talking podcasts and talking Texas and mostly talking rassling. As a fan of these podcasts it was great to have Dave on and talk about the shows we all love.

Joe is joined today by Cj Belanger of the Rosesuchakladder podcast. The boys have a beer, another beer, 3 beers, 4 beers, 5 beers well lets say we make Stone Cold proud. We watch the 2026 version of WWE's elimination chamber. The womens chamber started off strong with the likes of Raquel, Rhea, Alexa, Kiana James, Tiff and Asuka. Great match with the expected outcome. Aj and Becky was fire. Cm punk and Fin was all it should be , we both hope the demon returns soon. An Evil debut. Great mens main event with an ending i didn't call. In between you get to here Cj and I rant about everything under the sun and hear two good friends get drunk.

Joe is solo dolo today and we get the movies Joe loves when hes solo and this is no different. Joe goes back to that special year of 1993 to cover a movie and show influential to him and to the world at that time in Yo Mtv Raps and Who's the Man. Starring Dr Dre (not that dre lol) and Ed lover. In a hip hop who done it movie that goes from buddy cop comedy to a 48 hrs drama. Featuring cameos from the rap world and MTV you get Run DMC, Latifah, Salt and Peppa, Heavy D, Phife dawg, Ice T, Monie Love, Bowlegged Lou, Bernie Mac, House of pain, Colin Quinn the list goes on.
